Foundations of Counselling Vol 2 Training by Weza Care Solutions.
COURSE OVERVIEW
The practice of Counselling is built on a foundation of trust, communication and well-defined processes, allowing the counsellors to assist their clients in overcoming life challenges and reaching personal wellness goals.
This training helps participants identify which counselling interventions would be most appropriate give a client’s individual circumstances. Also, recognizing the emotionally challenging nature of the counselling profession, participants will explore the importance of prioritizing their well-being and implementing self-care practices to maintain their personal and professional balance.
COURSE OBJECTIVES
To apply learned communication skills within various counselling methodologies.
To understand the principle of Unconditional Positive Regard; and recognize when it becomes challenged or threatened.
To understand how one’s experience within their environment shapes their values, thoughts, feelings and self-concept.
